Life in the woods
We got our cabin years ago, and it was a bit of a mess... but it had great potential. Frank is the eternal optimist. It was his ingenuity and hard work that made this place a functioning home, which we now live in full time. We started out with a mess and a long, long list of things we had to get done; year after year, the "honey-do" list has gotten shorter, and now our projects are less things like "Fix the hole in the roof" and more things like "expand the garden."

Most recently, Frank built me a beautiful greenhouse that I hope to fill with all kinds of plants. My green thumb is barely green, I am not the best gardener in the world. I have a bit of a learning curve in working with this greenhouse. For example, did you know that without heat, it gets pretty darn cold out there in the winter? I didn't realize! I am doing the best I can to learn how to use this new addition to the garden, but I am having a lot of fun doing it!
